Description of project and services rendered

The objective of the project is to provide the Ministry with technical assistance for the management of the project as well as training for Kuwaiti engineers and assistant engineers on the latest power generating stations' general services:

  • In conjunction with Pratt & Whitney, Massey Fergusson and General Motors, provide fellowship training (hands-on) for 12 Kuwaiti engineers and assistant engineers in instrumentation, machine shop management, etc.;
  • Set-up, monitor and control all logistical aspects of this training and follow-up on students' results;
  • The group of 12 engineers and assistant engineers spent 12 weeks in various power generating stations in Québec under the direct supervision of the consultant;
  • Coordinate the teaching activities, with the aforementioned companies;
  • Prepare the courses' budgets and ensure they were not exceeded during the execution of the program;
  • Development of the financial statements, and reporting documents to be presented to the Ministry, highlighting the project's results.
