The objective of the project is to provide training for fifteen Kuwaiti engineers and technicians on the latest Boiler and Steam Turbine techniques.

The Steam Turbine Training program items included the following:

  3. Turbine Governor System
  4. Turbine Protection
  5. Turbine Start-up Procedure
  6. Turbine Gland Steam System
  7. Turbine Automatic Control System
  8. Turbine Shooting
  9. Training on Simulator for turbine start-up and Turbine Interlock
  10. Turbine efficiency
The Boiler Training program items included the following:
  1. Main ideas about Boiler
  2. Type of Boilers
  3. Boiler Fuel Oil/Gas System
  4. Types of Burners (Oil, Gas)
  5. Combustion Oil for Boiler
  6. Internal and External Water Treatment
  7. Boiler Start-up / Shut Down
  8. How to Safe Boiler in Emergency
  9. Boiler Automatic Control System (Drum Level Control System, Fuel/Air Ratio Controller)
  10. Boiler Protection
  11. How to improve Boiler efficiency
  12. Trouble Shooting
  13. Training on simulator for Boiler Start-Up and Boiler Interlock
