Description of project and services rendered

It is within the frame of the technical assistance Canada / Haiti project that the Ministry of Economy and Finance has requested the establishment of a methodology for the development of a computerized system.

The objectives of the technical assistance for the establishment of a methodology for the development of a computerized system are:
  • To respond to the needs of the department in a more efficient and effective way;
  • To obtain, from the clients, a more structured description of their needs by using the pilot system approach;
  • Insure the systems evolvement in order to respond more adequately to the new needs;
  • Propose a computerized project management structure to support the new developments.
The end results are set as follow:
  • A methodology of system development standardized and adapted to the context of the computer unit;
  • The training of the programmers and analysts of the computer unit use;
  • The training of at least one pilot by department;
  • To inform the managers about the concept of system pilot and the project management structure advocated.
P.A. Management International (Canada) Inc.'s mandate is to:
  • Adapt by alleviating the system development methodology recognized for the needs of the computer unit;
  • Set up a pilot approach in the departments;
  • Train the programmers to the use of developed methodology;
  • Train the department managers to the system piloting;
  • Inform the managers about system piloting and the project management structure advocated.
