Description of project and services rendered

The Romanian Bank for Development expressed a need to train its personnel in the following areas, in order to adjust to the new market economy:

  • Implementing a budgeting and accounting system bankwide;
  • Branch banking operations with both the head office and regional centers;
  • Business consultation services for S.M.E.s concerning the needs, financing, programs and conditions of credit guarantees;
  • Economic and financial analysis of credit risks;
  • Management of human resources across the organization;
  • Creation of a treasury department and training of its personnel;
  • Restructuring the entire banking operation;
  • Possibilities and opportunities for privatizing the Bank.

The project also addressed the improvement of the range and quality of financial products; with the strategy remaining oriented towards clients and their needs.
